![]() ![]() Sill keeping some good dynamics).Ībout the Boss Katana, I heard it was a good amp. I would like to have something which can keep some good dynamics even at low volume (I think the AC15 did that pretty well, even if it was not giving its best at low volume. The AC15C1 now features both NORMAL and TOP BOOST channels, and has many common fea- tures with the AC30C2X/AC30C2. Please read this manual carefully so that you can familiarize yourself with them. Not super quiet, but pleasant for everyone. FX loop, master volume and Celestion AlNiCo Blue speakers (AC30C2X only), to name a few. The key is the Master volume- you get the desired tone from the preamp volumes and control the overall with the Master and the Tone Cut knob (New to the AC15C1) is another extremely nice feature. The only thing is, sometimes, I will need to play without bothering wife and kids (since the amp will stay in the living room for now). First off, this amp is LOUD While 15w doesn t seem all that much it will keep up in a band setting. Currently living in a house, I can play a bit louder without any issue. I did not specify what I meant with home use. By the way, did you try the 10? If yes, is there a big difference in terms of sound quality? wahou!!! Really seem to have a killer tone!!! Maybe more for the Delta King 10 for me. Thanks to you I am a little bit more lost than I already was! What a wonderful forum! Very responsive!!! So, has anyone tried them both? Or has anyone bought one of these beautiful amp for home practice? I know the best way would be to go to a guitar shop and try them both, but currently it's a little bit complicated with the Covid. clean sound seems less warm than the VoxĮven after seeing lots of reviews on Youtube, I still can't decide. headphone output (even if it's not great quality, it still can be useful sometimes) On the other hand, the HT-5R MKii seems to be the perfect amp for home use. You can use one hand no problem and is perfect for all old farts with back problems. ![]() First if all, this amp is extremely light. I used to own a Matchless Spitfire and a Victoria 5112 but had to sell to raise some cash. For some reason, I decided to sell it because it was too loud to play at home (since then, I cry everyday every time I think about the blue Alnico sound. Just got this baby home yesterday and gave it a good workout for a few hours. Now in 2015, VOX is proud to reintroduce the AC10C1 and provide players with an easy way to enjoy the legendary VOX top boost sound. The thing is, until I recently, I had a Vox AC15C1X. Long adored for his ability to achieve rich, articulate tube tone at very manageable volumes, the AC10 has become a highly coveted piece of VOX history since it's discontinuation in 1965. I'm trying to find a good tube amp for home practice. ![]()
